One of the retreat’s most unique features is its position right beside The Viking Way, the famous 147-mile walking trail that runs from the Humber to Rutland. Step out of the garden gate and you’re already on the trail, with beautiful routes leading towards Tealby, Walesby, Horncastle and beyond.
The retreat also makes an excellent base for exploring the wider area. Cadwell Park is only four miles away, while the market towns of Louth, Market Rasen and Horncastle are all within easy reach.
