How It Works

Your advert is made from your inLouth page: your business name, picture, category, town, phone number and website, plus one line of your own of up to 120 characters. There is no artwork to make and nothing to approve, so it can go live quickly.

People who click your advert go to your inLouth page or straight to your website. Every view and click is counted, so you can see what your advert is doing.

You need your own page on inLouth to advertise: Basic Presence or above. If your business only appears as a listing card, start with Be Found, and your advert can follow.

Category Sponsor

Your advert at the top of one business category, such as Cafés, Plumbers or Hairdressers, on every page of its listing. Seen by people who are looking for exactly what you do.

£36 (£30 + VAT) every 3 months

All prices include VAT at 20%. Payments renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time: your advert runs to the end of the time you have paid for. You'll receive an email receipt after each payment. If you need a formal VAT invoice, just reply to the receipt email. Payments processed by 28 Pixels Ltd (Louth) using Stripe.

Sponsor a category

Group Sponsor

Your advert at the top of a whole group of categories, such as Places to Eat & Drink or Home Services: on the group's own page and on each of its categories that has no sponsor of its own.

£72 (£60 + VAT) every 3 months

£108 (£90 + VAT) per month

Advertise on the home page

Booking

  1. Choose where you'd like your advert and pay with the button.
  2. At checkout, or by replying to your receipt email, tell us your business name, the category or group you'd like, and your line of text if you want one.
  3. We set your advert live, usually within two working days, and email you when it is showing.

If the place you'd like is already booked, you can still book it. Your advert starts on the day the place is free, and your paid time starts then too, so you never pay for days you're not showing.

The Rules

Your line of text should be about your business and true. It can't name other businesses, and we may shorten it to fit. Adverts always carry the "Advert" label, and links from them are marked as sponsored, as search engines ask.

One business per place at a time: one sponsor per category or group, and two on the home page.

Questions About Advertising

Do I need a page on inLouth to advertise?
Yes, every advert links to the business's own page on inLouth, so you need Basic Presence or above. Businesses that only appear as a listing card can choose a package on Be Found first.

How long does an advert run?
Category and group sponsorships renew every 3 months and home page adverts renew every month, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and your advert keeps showing until the end of the time you have paid for.

What does my advert look like?
Your advert is a highlighted green card labelled "Advert", with your name, picture, category, town, phone number and website. It is built from your inLouth page, so there is no artwork to design or approve.

Can I see how my advert is doing?
Yes, inLouth counts how many times your advert is seen and clicked. Ask at any time and we will send you the numbers.

What happens if the place I want is already taken?
You can still book it, and your advert starts on the day the place is free. Your paid time starts then too, so you never pay for days your advert is not showing.
