Between them, and a small family team, they’ve built somewhere that works just as well for locals as it does for visitors exploring the wider area (East Lindsey, Lincolnshire Wolds).
I stayed here for one night as part of a walk along the Viking Way. I’d been before, but the food I had this evening (beef brisket) was one of the best meals I’d had in years. The pub is cosy, inviting and friendly. Think of village pub with modern quality food and a good selection of local beers.

I’m sure the rooms are lovely but we only stopped for food and drinks and the experience was wonderful. Set in a quiet village location. Very warm and friendly welcome and very tasty homemade food. Good selection of real ale too. Would definitely recommend a visit. Our pooch was also made welcome and also got a welcome treat!!
