Whether you’re after a night out, live music, something a little different, or just an excuse to leave the sofa, there’s plenty going on in and around Louth across the Easter weekend.
Here’s some of what’s happening.
Good Friday – 3rd April
Rodeo Bingo, Bar Boulevard, Aswell Street – 8pm
This one’s a bit daft in the best possible way. Bar Boulevard is hosting Rodeo Bingo on Good Friday, and it’s essentially Disco Bingo with a cowboy hat on. Instead of numbers, you’re playing songs. Hear your tune, mark your card, win prizes (including cash). There are western-themed cocktails, country and rock music, and the dress code is boots and buckles if you’re up for it. It looks like a proper laugh if you fancy something a bit different to the usual Friday night out.
More info on the Boulevard Cocktail Bar website.
Saturday – 4th April
Dance B4 Dark, Bar Boulevard, Aswell Street – 3pm
If you’re 30-plus and you haven’t heard of Dance Before Dark yet, this is the daytime club night that’s been packing out Boulevard on a regular basis. This Saturday’s Easter edition runs from 3pm to 9pm – so yes, you can absolutely be home in time for a decent night’s sleep. The playlist covers the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s, the cocktails are flowing, and the dancefloor apparently gets going properly. Tables are nearly full, and walk-in space is limited, so booking is strongly advised. And yes, ID is required – they mean it.
More info and check details on the Boulevard Cocktail Bar website.
HillRacer and The Shortround
Louth Social Club, Queen Street – 6.30pm
A live music double-bill on Saturday night, with alt-rock act HillRacer headlining alongside Louth indie band The Shortround, plus support from Fox Bisset. Three acts, one night, local venue. If you like your Saturday nights loud and guitar-shaped, this one’s worth knowing about.
Comedy Night
Louth Town Hall, Eastgate – 7pm
A comedy night at the Town Hall on Saturday evening. We’ll add a link to the full details and ticket information below when it’s confirmed, so check back if you’re keen.

Cocoa Loca Cocktail and Spirit Night
The Brown Cow, Newmarket – 7.30pm
This is something a bit out of the ordinary. The Brown Cow is hosting an Easter chocolate and cocktail evening, led by Victoria and Kathryn – a local fine chocolate expert and an international chocolate judge. The evening includes a cacao-based spring cocktail, a guided tasting of cacao spirits, and the chance to try Mil Alas Nocturne, a single-estate Guatemalan cacao liqueur that isn’t generally available in the UK. There’s also a seasonal sharing platter. Tickets are £39 per person, available directly from The Brown Cow. Let them know of any dietary requirements or allergens when you book.
More info from Cocoa Encounters on Facebook and The Brown Cow on Facebook too.
The San Jacinto Stompers
Louth Jazz Club, Queen Street – 7.30pm
Louth Jazz Club has a live night on Saturday with The San Jacinto Stompers. More details here on inLouth and here on the Louth Jazz Club website.
Easter Sunday – 5th April
Bar Boulevard – Cocktails and DJ
Aswell Street – from 7.00pm
Boulevard is open on Easter Sunday with a DJ running through to the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday. A good option if you want to keep the weekend going a little longer.
