The Louth Friendship Festival 2026 takes place on Bank Holiday Monday, 4th May, from 11am to 4pm across multiple venues in Louth town centre. Entry is free and all ages are welcome. The day brings together dozens of local clubs, groups, and organisations offering live music, arts and crafts, dance, yoga, and more.

Louth Friendship Festival 2026
On Bank Holiday Monday, 4th May, a whole range of local clubs, groups, and organisations are opening their doors across town between 11am and 4pm. It’s free to attend, all ages are welcome, and there’s no agenda other than having a good day and meeting people.
Live Music, Arts & Crafts, Dancing and More
Live music runs through the day at Louth Methodist Church, with the Louth Ukulele Band, The Strubbies, Coffee Club, and MAK & Co taking to the main stage.
Over at the Louth Jazz and Folk Club, Molly Amour headlines in the afternoon with her musicians, bookended by folk music sessions and an instrument demo in the morning where you’re welcome to have a go yourself.
There’s arts and crafts at the Methodist Church, including activities for children, plus alpaca wool spinning, cross stitch, patchwork, and sessions from the Louth Textile Group. Yoga runs at 11am for families and 1pm for adults.
Ayscough Hall has pilates, Latin line-dance, classical ballroom, and jive across the day, with several sessions requiring no partner.
The Corner of Creations has a drop-in art workshop open to all, and Louth Museum is running its 2026 Bugs and Butterflies Project for all ages.
The Riverhead Theatre
The Riverhead Theatre is offering tours throughout the day, including backstage, with the chance to find out what’s on in the coming year, meet volunteers, and pick up refreshments. There’s free parking on site.
St James’ Church
St James’ Church is home to a wide spread of local organisations on the day, from Louth Lions and the Meridian Singers to the Photographic Society, Dementia Café, Butterfly Conservation, Chess Club, and Community Connectors, among others. Hammond House Gallery has handcrafted jewellery, Wonky Bears on Tour, and a Japanese calligraphy workshop.
