Louth Golf Club is looking for a qualified assistant greenkeeper to join the team at Crowtree Lane. It’s a full-time, permanent role covering all aspects of greenkeeping, and they’d like someone in place sooner rather than later, with applications closing on 30th April 2026.
To be considered, you’ll need at least an NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf Management and solid hands-on experience in golf course maintenance.
You should be comfortable operating a wide range of turf machinery and have a good understanding of how a course is set up for daily play and competitions.
PA1, PA2 and PA6 spraying certificates would be a bonus, as would chainsaw experience and qualifications, though neither are dealbreakers if you’re strong in other areas.
The club is also keen to find someone who gets the environmental and conservation side of greenkeeping, not just the practical work. Good communication, the ability to work as part of a team, and a decent record for attendance and timekeeping all matter too.
On the benefits side, the package includes
- a competitive salary,
- 20 days paid holiday,
- uniform and PPE,
- opportunities for further training, and
- free membership of Louth Golf Club itself.
Weekend and Bank Holiday overtime will come up occasionally, so a degree of flexibility helps.
To apply, send your CV and a supporting letter to the Chair of the Greens Committee:
