East Lindsey Council Tax Phone Lines Open Until 7pm

If you need to sort out your council tax and haven’t got round to it yet, now’s a good time to pick up the phone.

East Lindsey District Council has extended its council tax phone lines until 7pm every weekday, running through to Friday 27 March. That’s two extra hours each evening to get through to someone, which should help if you can’t call during the usual working day.

It’s worth knowing you don’t have to phone at all if you’d rather not. You can email the team directly at counciltax@e-lindsey.gov.uk, or log in to the self-serve portal at e-lindsey.gov.uk/selfserve to manage your account online.

Here’s a link direct to the East Lindsey self-serve dashboard.

Payments can also be made through the council website or via the automated phone payment line (0800 731 0540) if you just need to pay quickly without speaking to anyone.

The extended hours are there because this is their busiest period of the year, so lines may still be a bit slow at peak times. If you can, early morning or just after lunch tends to be quieter.
